I enjoy singing here on Singsnap. Since I've been here for close to 2 years now, I've met some really fine people and have forged very close friendships with some. To most of my friends I'd like to be thought of as a wildflower... wildflowers don't need special attention...they just take what comes to them, the sunshine, rain... whatever nature has to offer, and they thrive and produce a beautiful array of color...all different, but each one still with an individual beauty all its own... and they complement each other. Of course, there are still "roses" and "orchids"... those we may spend a little more time with...and it brings mutual benefits and enjoyment...
Just a little about me...I'm married to ImJimBob, a member here... When I first started singing here, Jim was always wondering what was the allure that Singsnap held for me and eventually, as addicts tend to do...I started sneaking to sing karaoke...What kind of enjoyment is that??? Well, I figured I could show him better than I could tell him... so here it is about a year later and I think I've created a monster! Needless to say, I get to spend as much time here as I want because Jimbob does his own thing here... I'll prove it to you! Take a look at this!
Jim and I have been married for close to 32 years...it will be in July... we have 4 sons, the oldest will be 31 in a few months, one 29, one soon to be 28 in a few days and the youngest is 23. Ken, our 28 year old son is married to a wonderful wife and they have 3 children and one that will be arriving sometime in January...proud grandparents we are! Mike, our 23 year old is also married to a lovely young lady :-)
The whole family loves to sing. I use it mostly as therapy because I'm so shy about singing live...but I think I'm moving along pretty good. Occasionally I do videos, when I'm feeling bold. Here's a couple that I did early last year...back when I had all the static sound...I'll have to do these over...
